Without Conversions, Your Website Traffic Is A Waste!

Website traffic, Conversions, or both?

Would you like to get…

  • more traffic to your website?
  • more conversions on your website?
  • more traffic to your website and more conversions?

I’m guessing you’d prefer the third option, because it gives you both aspects… am I right?

Who wouldn’t want to have a good amount of quality traffic to their website, and also achieve conversions (leads and sales)! It’s a no brainer!

The truth is, there are a good number of reliable traffic sources online, which means, website traffic is usually not the problem when it comes to online marketing… the main issue businesses face online is conversions!

You can run ads on Facebook or gain organic reach; you can do the same on LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Snapchat, or setup Google Adwords, Google places, SEO, CPA… the list goes on and on! These are current mediums businesses are using to get website traffic!

But… when you get people to your digital hub (i.e. your website, landing pages, etc), how certain are you that they will take the next step (depending on what it is you want them to do)?

The idea of setting up leads/sales funnels for one’s business online should be “second nature”, but sadly, it’s still an issue for most businesses.

The competition for attention online is at its peak, and the end users are no longer oblivious of marketing tactics displayed in front of them, and what they (the end users) are meant to do when they come across them.

You see, we’re living in the time of “sophisticated consumer” thanks to the internet, and the fact that most people are not “tech savvy” does not mean they don’t have a clue of what they are looking at online.

So, let’s retract our steps a little bit…

What makes people opt-in to take up an offer (free or paid)?

Start there!

Your offer (product/service) should be a derivative of a pain point that you’re looking to solve. If you’ve done your research, and figured out what your ideal prospects need/want, then you can create something that will help them.

When that is established, then there’s a chance that your offer will resonate with the individuals who are looking to eliminate that pain. This knowledge will help you craft your contents to attract, educate, advice, encourage, and convince your prospects to take up your offer. This is the conversions journey!

Indulging in price wars may seem fitting at the start, but it can quickly wear out, leaving you torn apart, ineffective, and unable to scale your business. Avoid trying to win clients based on price alone. If they are not for you, then they are not for you!

Question…

What’s the primary challenge you have right now, when it comes to conversions online?

If you’re pondering on that, don’t do it on the surface… that’s not going to help you. Go deeper!

  • If you had more clients today, what would that mean to you?
  • If you had more income, what problems would that solve?
  • If you had more freedom, where would you go?
  • If you had a stable business, how would you feel?
  • How important is your health right now?
  • What would you do if you had extra time in your hands?
  • Who are you building this dream for?

Think about these things, and start aligning your actions with your goals.

The online journey is not based on the amount of traffic you have acquired, but it’s based on the conversions you get… but here’s the ultimate thing… your ability to create recurring revenue in your business, so you can retire early, and spend more time with family/friends!

Wouldn’t you love that?

Well, let’s take it one step at a time… starting with where you are right now, why you’re there, and what should be done to move you to where you ought to be!
