2 Elements You Need to Grow a Successful Consulting or Coaching Business

Attracting your ideal clients to your consulting or coaching business can be a bit of a struggle, mainly because there are so many others competing within your space, and are possibly offering mediocre services.

Another aspect is you are trying to be (or sound) like everyone else and also compete on price.

To make head way in this line of business, you MUST make these two core elements your core focus…

#1. VALUE:

Without the insertion of value in your business, your message will be just another clangor in the midst of other noisy bells.

Your content needs to carry this element at all times, due to the fact that we live in a very competitive world, and when you operate like the guy next door, you will repel rather than attract your ideal clients.

#2. INTEGRITY:

This sets you apart from every other person and positions you as a trusted adviser.

Trust is something most of us try to adhere to and it’s imperative if one must succeed. For this to work for you, you have to understand where your strengths and your weaknesses lie.

Don’t try to be what you are not. If there’s something you don’t know, there’s nothing wrong in saying so to a prospect. If they choose to work with someone else, don’t let that dampen your mood.

What Services are YOU Offering?

You must endeavor to work on your offers (i.e. services) in order to position yourself as a problem solver.

Make it irresistible and value packed, such that your prospects will do what it takes to ensure they enroll into your program.

Don’t be another spammer on the block, or a hyped up guru with watered down programs or regurgitated content. Be different… be unique!

Be more driven to give help to others rather than focus on what you can get from them! Your prospects will smell your motive from a mile away.

Your online marketing must also be crisp!

Create effective lead funnels with automated systems, that will target and only attract quality people to you.

Then use a unique follow up system to convert them from leads to high paying clients. This is often where “the rubber meets the road”. If you don’t have a dynamic system in place, you will be running a leaky funnel!

This is not about using some random email marketing tactic, with enticing subject lines and disconnected email copy… there’s more to this than what most people project!

I’m talking about running effective consulting/coaching and “done for you services” ranging from $2k to $15k a pop; and/or mastermind programs ranging from $10k to as much as you can charge! Don’t limit yourself… go for it!

To get to this level, you must purge your mind of every idea that you are “not good enough”, because YOU ARE!
